These are the SVTTA trophy, shield and award winners for the 2016 season.

The John M. Thayne B.A.R. on standard
Congratulation to Caithness C.C's A.B.G. Washington on an outstanding season resulting in first place in the
SVTTA Best All Rounder table at age 79.

David Millar adds another win of our short-distance BAR over 10, 25 and 50 miles to his palmares.

Championship Events

21st. August - The Reilly and Jim Sharp trophies - SVTTA 100 mile championship and handicap
Results of the events held on the A90 Aberdeen course.

17th July - Pinky Williams trophy - SVTTA 30 mile championship
A good day for the Shetland Wheelers contingent. Christine's time is the fastest 30 mile SVTTA woman's time on record and she goes into the SC record books.With so many DNSs organiser Michael easily found his quota of race marshalls.

3rd. July - Ben Smith trophy - SVTTA 25 mile championship
Although rain kept away it was a very strong wind that faced the riders on the outward leg. With twenty eight riders returning under the hour in the event the big gears were in use on the return journey. Chris Smart of G.T.R. was fastest in the open event with 53:13.

19th. June - Harry Roberts trophy - SVTTA 50 mile championship
An excellent victory in the championship for the SVTTA's Iain Mcleod.

12th. June -
John Cramb trophy - SVTTA 25 mile handicap
Congratulations to new group member Brian Nicholas for winning the John Cramb Handicap trophy. Second on handicap went to a new member and comeback rider Jim Petrie. A very unpleasant morning greeted the riders with rain and strong wind on the return leg, although it did’nt stop 20 riders from going under the hour with Kyle Gordon of Sandy Wallace Cycles winning the open event with 54m. 13s.

14th. May - Jim and Betty Train trophy - SVTTA 10 mile championship
A clear win on standard for David Millar, riding under the SVTTA banner.

17th. April - Speed Family trophy - SVTTA 15 mile championship
On a bitterly cold day Jim Cusick became the first holder of this new trophy and also recorded fastest time of the SVTTA riders.
